It had been a long day. I was tired almost done with school–all I had to do was write a short essay, so I got my computer out and started typing. I was maybe a quarter of the way through when Amber started meowing in one of the bedrooms. I called her name and she came running. “Meow?” she asked. “Come here!” I replied and patted my lap. She jumped into my lap and began to knead, purring loudly (we call it them “motor-boats” when they do that, Willow especially). Finally, after maybe five minutes, she decided she had kneaded me enough, flopped onto her back, and promptly went to sleep. It was adorable!
